P E R F O R M A N C E S

This video is a sum-up of some of my acting experiences and fashion shows that I´ve had over the last years. I´m going to briefly explain the origin of it all.

When I was a kid I went to the theatre and loved the feeling, but most of it I got an idea: I wanted to be them, I wanted to act.
That´s when I joined my local Drama Club, after one year  impatiently waiting (by that time being a 6 years old was too young to join the Club).
I spent 7 years training and performing, doing some plays every June and having lots of fun.

When I was in high school I participated as an extra in my first movie. The film was called "Gordos", from director Daniel Sánchez Arevalo, and the result was a teenager dreaming of becoming an actress (but then fashion got in the way, I´ll explain it in another post).

After that period I started college in Madrid and there I enrolled in a professional Agency of Extras and Actors. There, I did a few spots with brands like Vodafone, Orange, DGT and Energy XL.
One year after moving to Madrid I moved to La Rioja to finish college. In that new place, I participated in several fashion shows and projects due to the degree I was studying.

When I graduated from university in 2016 I moved to London for over a year. I didn´t have any acting experience but I did a fashion show at an H&M store I was working in, in Oxford Circus, and a few photo shootings.

Since I moved back to Spain I´ve participated in just a few more things: an ad for Eitb, a local TV channel from Basque Country, a spot from ECPV, a film school, and next Woody Allen movie, as an extra, called Rifkin´s Festival.

In this video you´ll see some of these experiences. Here (click there) I leave you a link to watch the full spot from ECPV, where I´m wearing big glasses and eating red candy.

I hope you enjoy my video and let me know your thoughts!

Jumbo Muffins

Sometimes you are just craving for some sweets but also thinking of getting something healthy and yummy. For that, I have the perfect idea: Jumbo Muffins, they´re a great homemade treat and also a good snack to end the day after a hot day at the beach, perfect to enjoy while catching up on your last Netflix series.

I leave you here the recipe and also a link to my homemade American cookies, that I´ve used to top my muffins! For the muffin cup, I´ve used a paper cup cut as you see in the picture. Easy and eco-friendly, both important matters to keep in mind.

For the muffins

200g white flour

100g granulated sugar

100ml olive oil

3 eggs

1/2 baking powder sachet

For the cookies

Mix all the ingredients together starting with the eggs and meanwhile preheat the oven, and spread a bit of butter inside the paper cups so the muffin doesn´t get glued to the cup. Leave them in the oven for around 20 minutes at 150º.

I hope you bake them at home and let me know if so. Have a good day!

Gilmore Girls Wishlist

I know the Summer season is coming this weekend but as it´s so rainy where I live (north of Spain has the same weather as Ireland, I swear) I´ve started with Gilmore Girls already. This show is so perfect for any time of the year (especially Fall, I know) and makes you feel so cozy enjoying your coffee.

As it is a show I love I´ve decided to make a wishlist based on it for everyone who enjoys watching it too. Every product reminds me of the series, the mugs, the tartan skirt (that screams "ready for Chilton"), the trivia book... And there´s something more. The tote bag is mine! I design them with quotes and my watercolours.

I have a bunch of them in my Etsy store. This one it´s perfect because of the coffee quote but if you like illustrated or even handmade linen and embroidered tote bags you just have found the perfect place at my store.

I leave you here everything linked and I hope you enjoy the products as I´ve enjoyed finding them for you! I´m totally getting the Trivia Book!

Have a nice day!

Golden Hour in the fields

June is here, and as the month starts we can appreciate that the days are becoming longer. Two weeks left till next season comes and we have all the signs in the sky.

Some people may prefer sunrises because of the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and because they bring the promise of a day. For me, the sunsets are the greatest time of the day, when after all the heat and activity, we relax as we watch the sun coming down, the lights, the colours in the sky, and then the fresh and cozy night, that tells us to go back home, like Autumn after Summer.

My dress in the pictures is H&M´s but as it is last season I´m sharing here a similar one from ASOS. What´s your favourite moment of the day, sunrise or sunset? Let me know and I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Tartan skirt

Now that the weather is getting warmer I´m changing my wardrobe to Summer. In these days, wether you are or not at home you want to be comfy and fresh. That´s what I was looking for today, a hot spring day, tidying the house, having lunch in the terrace and just chilling.

This skirt is a mixture of linen and cotton and that´s why is so fresh. I love linen clothing but it´s difficult to keep it well ironed. The look it´s Zara´s but I´m afraid it´s last season, as I´m changing my closet and haven´t started buying/ sewing new stuff.

Let me know your favourite summery looks and I hope everyone is doing well in these hard times.
I´ve been sharing my thought through my Instagram account about how I feel in this fight against racism. These last few days have been heavy for me, having a heavy heart and reading a lot to inform myself and learn. I hope everyone learns from this too so we can fight it together.

Have a nice day and see you soon,
